Are you looking for a constructive way for your child to spend those days off from summer camp or school? A way for them to learn a little and have fun a little? Then Workshops Essayer is your answer. We custom design fun-ducational workshops for your child based on their interests. We then guide your child through every step of the workshop as they discover what a little science, a little creativity and a little elbow grease can produce.
In each of our fun-ducational workshops, your child learns the process of making some of their favorite things. With the use of household products (taken primarily from the kitchen), your child will turn into a mini MacGyver for the duration of the workshop as they explore the wonders of a little chemistry, bubble-ology, crystal farming and a little “magic.”
How do our programs work? Based on your child’s areas of interest, we create a custom workshop designed to keep your child enthralled as well as introduce them to possible new avocations. Each of our workshops allows your child to do the work themself, to get their hands dirty and really work to figure out how to get the result they want. Your child will learn a little science, gain a little practical knowledge and above all try something new.
Our workshops are designed to take place in the child's home. This allows us to be mobile as each workshop often includes a physical / active component which may involve traveling to the store to get supplies or to the park to test the results of various experiments. Our mobility also allows us to easily travel to and work from wherever a child is located without compromising the essence of our workshops. Though primarily based out of Manhattan, we have worked with families in The Hamptons, Brooklyn and Weehawken, NJ and and are available to work with kids in the immediate tri-state area.
